A creative cultural tour where local people act as tour guides, showcasing the art, community and culture of Woolwich.
The tour guides will direct participants around a trail which explores areas of local interest, commissioned artworks and the businesses within the Woolwich area.
This curated trail that celebrates the spirit of Woolwich, it's diversity and Iconic Landmarks.

As part of the 'Which Woolwich Stories' programme, EEA commissioned a number of installations to be displayed in the spaces around Woolwich High Street and the Woolwich Heritage Action Zone (HAZ).
The Art commissions consist of the following:
- ‘Pieced together’ by Alessandro Tortone a Jigsaw piece that illustrates Woolwich’s interconnectivity.
- ‘A Day in Woolwich’ a Film by Emma Houston which highlights the local businesses and diversity thorough hip hop and break dancing.
- ‘Woolwich tree-preciation’ lead by Ellen Strachan which invites community members to explore their connection to Woolwich trees through a collective mural.
- ‘Transi (t) ion series – portraiture’ lead by Geoffrey, Woolwich community members will have their portraits created on repurposed doors, which will be hung in key local sites.
- ‘McWoolwich’ – lead by Latta Nobles and Andy Ruddy, a stylized musical that playfully explores the communities’ connection to fast food restaurants.
- ‘Woolwich high street/ Africa Moon’ – lead by Lucy Isaiah who will incorporate recycled African fabrics with the use of African moon symbols in her tapestries. Which aims to celebrate the vibrant African communities in Woolwich.
- 'African Moon’ by Lucy Isaiah - This tapestry uses traditional African tapestry techniques and recycled traditional cultural fabrics such as Ankara fabric to highlight the cultural heritage of the growing population of the African, particularly Nigerian Community in Woolwich.
- ‘Hamara Ghar (our home)’ – Lead by Pragya Kumar who will use traditional South Asian folk art of Warli to illustrate the stories of local residents and platform Woolwich’s South Asian community.
- 'Awareness' by Eunice Bossman-Okai - A wall sculpture is made using natural materials locally sourced in and around Woolwich high street, in shops that sell Caribbean and African foods, particularly focusing on fruits and vegetables.

LOCAL SENSES will also be delivering multi-sensory guided walking workshops they have designed in the Woolwich heritage action zone, primarily aimed at those with impaired vision, using resources such as chap books and bespoke tactile maps. All walking workshops will be 90 minutes long and will involve a mix of strolling and reflection. Local Senses are a creative collective founded in 2017 from a series of self initiated creative workshops for people undergoing changes to their vision - Book Now!
