Eltham

Eltham sits in the south of the Royal Borough of Greenwich and some of it feels as if it’s on the verge of being in the Kent countryside. It's brimming with beautiful parks, nature reserves, gardens and open spaces. It's also home to the famous Eltham Palace, childhood home of Henry VIII. You'll also find one of Britain’s oldest golf clubs, hidden literary secrets, and a gothic folly castle tower at one of London’s highest natural points, set in some of the most ancient woodland in Britain.

Frequent buses service Eltham Town Centre from Woolwich, Blackheath and North Greenwich to where a busy high street boasts restaurants, a cinema complex and a regular producers' market. There’s also a train station that connects Eltham to central London via Victoria and London Bridge.
