About
Lotus Youth Dance is an exciting and challenging performance company for young people aged 13-19, with many members having progressed through our NRgDance programme. Starting with a foundation in hip hop theatre, Experienced Artistic Director Colleen Joseph takes inspiration from a variety of different dance styles including contemporary and jazz, training you in technique and performance skills to make you a strong and adaptable performer. With the opportunity to perform in a variety of different locations, (past locations include the V&A Museum, Royal Festival Hall and Woolwich Riverside) this group will not only develop your performance skills, but you will create lifelong friendships along the way that will support you in your future endeavours. Members will have the opportunity to work with a range of exciting choreographers and dance artists to develop new and exciting work for both screen and stage.
The programme is open to anybody aged 13-19 within the South East London area.
* Lotus Youth Dance Company is delivered in partnership with Tramshed and the programme is supported by RBG.
