Kidbrooke Village Sports & Fun Day!

About

The Olympics may have come to an end, but the Summer of Sport doesn’t have to stop there! Kidbrooke Village is hosting a Sports and Fun Day. There will be plenty of FREE family-friendly activities and games for locals and visitors to take part in.

What’s On:
- Free sessions from Pure Gym and Kent Cricket
- Wellbeing stalls providing advice around nutrition, sleep, holistic therapies and self-care
- Football and basketball in the multi-use games area, and boxing and circuits on the grass
- Bouncy castle, face-painting and smoothie bike
- All accompanied by a DJ all day!

Located in Cator Park at Berkeley’s Kidbrooke Village, the Attenborough award-winning park is one of the biggest in London and just a few minutes walk from Kidbrooke station.

This weekend marks the launch of Kicks, a Premier-League-backed youth football programme supported by England footballers Marcus Rashford and Raheem Sterling. The sessions will run at Kidbrooke Village for local teens every Monday between 5pm and 7pm, alongside regular mentoring and employability workshops. The day also celebrates the recently refurbished multi-use games area at Cator Park for a wide range of sports including tennis, 5-a-side, netball and cricket for young people at the Kidbrooke Community Hub.

The Sports and Fun Day is part of Berkeley's commitment to create an inclusive community and a healthier and safer environment for all.
