Blackheath Halls is one of south east London’s most remarkable places to see music and performances of the highest quality. A lovely, listed, late-Victorian building, it’s London’s oldest purpose-built cultural complex.

Combining a 500-seat Great Hall and the more intimate, 160-seat Hearn Recital Room, Blackheath Halls hosts productions from renowned companies like the English National Opera and London Philharmonic Orchestra, alongside family theatre, musical theatre and comedy. It also runs a community engagement programme including a youth choir, gospel chorus and more, and hires out space for performances, rehearsals, film shoots and private events.

Blackheath Halls is also available to hire for performancesrehearsals, filming and private events.

Only 20 minutes by train from Central London, Blackheath Halls sits in the heart of historic Blackheath Village.
