Tuesday, 25th February - Maksym Artemenko
- Born in Ukraine, Maksym Artemenko is an accomplished and passionate pianist, whose journey with music began at an early age. His innate musical talent and dedication have led him to perform on numerous international stages, from intimate recital halls to prestigious competitions across Europe. Maksym is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he is studying under the esteemed Professor Mikhail Kazakevich. His repertoire is broad, ranging from classical to contemporary works, with a deep connection to the music of Chopin, Brahms, Liszt, and Ukrainian composer Borys Lyatoshynsky.
Maksym has been recognized as a laureate and participant in numerous prestigious international piano competitions, which have further solidified his artistic vision and technical mastery. He has competed in events such as Sheepdrove Piano Competition, Kharkiv Assemblies, Czerny Competition, Amadeus International Competition, Chords of Khortytsia, and the Chopin Competition (Narva, Estonia), where his virtuosic performances and deep musical interpretations have captivated both juries and audiences. These competitions have not only refined his skills but also offered invaluable opportunities to engage with fellow musicians and explore a diverse range of repertoire on a global stage.

Tuesday, 11th March - Dechausser Duo
- Bella Lorenzo-Giguere cello and Emily Green double bass
Born in Sydney, Emily Green moved to London in September 2022 to study on full scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music (Master of Arts with Distinction) with Dominic Seldis (Principal double bass Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) and Tom Goodman (London Symphony Orchestra), after completing her First-class honours BMus degree from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying with Kees Boersma (Principal D. Bass Sydney Symphony Orchestra).
As an orchestral and chamber musician, she has performed across Australia, the USA, and the UK. Recent experience includes with the London Symphony Orchestra, Australia Opera and Ballet Orchestra, and London Contemporary Soloists, working with conductors such as Simone Young, Edward Gardner, Elim Chan, and Sir Mark Elder.
Emily Green set up the Dechausser Duo ensemble with her dear cello friend Bella Lorenzo-Giguere, who had completed her undergraduate degree at Cleveland Institute of Music and also graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a Masters with distinction. Bella is now currently enrolled in an advanced diploma course in performance at the Royal Academy of Music. Their repertoire covers a vast range of eras from Boccherini and Rossini to Penderecki as well as a fusion of traditional folk music and jazz.
