A concert celebrating the life of writer, composer and abolitionist, Ignatius Sancho

About

For the final event of Greenwich Park's FREE summer programme as part of Greenwich Park Revealed, join Greenwich Park for a series of performances across two days, held in the beautiful Flower Garden.

Join Tramshed for a specially commissioned concert performance with original music about the life and work of Ignatius Sancho, the first Black person to vote in the UK. A trailblazer for enfranchisement, this piece is especially poignant during this year of unprecedented global political participation. The project has been created by award winning composer Nick Bicat, writer Tunde Euba and directed by Angela Ekaette Michaels.

Tickets are FREE, but you are recommended to book tickets via the Tramshed website here.
