Explore the history of the suffragettes and their fight for the right to vote

About

Over the years, many women and girls have needed to be very brave to fight for the Greenwich we have today.

At this workshop, explore the history of the suffragettes and their fight for the right to vote, and uncover some local stories. You’ll even make your own rosettes to support the suffragettes’ ongoing cause: equality.

Charlton House Explorers run every Tuesday of the school summer holidays. Anytime between 10.00-12.00 each Tuesday morning, your children aged 5-12 can drop in to Charlton House for crafts, storytelling, games, and more fun based on Royal Greenwich’s history. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at our sessions.
