Explore the Victorian spirit of invention. Creations of the past will inspire us to become inventors of the future

About

Join Charlton House as they explore the Victorian spirit of invention. At this workshop, you'll use creations of the past as inspiration as you become inventors of the future.

In the 1800s, Charlton House’s residents would have seen Britain lead the way in building new industries and machines, culminating in a Great Exhibition at Crystal Palace.

Charlton House Explorers run every Tuesday of the school summer holidays. Anytime between 10.00-12.00 each Tuesday morning, your children aged 5-12 can drop in to Charlton House for crafts, storytelling, games, and more fun based on Royal Greenwich’s history. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at our sessions.
