An intimate & interactive evening celebrating fresh poetic voices, hosted by Partners in Rhyme! Meet the poets, hear their words, engage!

About

A captivating night of spoken word, creativity, and connection as Partners in Rhyme host an intimate and interactive evening showcasing five exciting new poetic voices including Lviss the Plumbing Poet.

Lviss is a South London Writer and Creative Writing Student from GCDA. He won the Plumstead Poet Laurate Title 2024 and performed at The Woolwich Town Hall at the Greenwich Learns Community Awards. He wants to bring all the local talent he has met along the way into a Creative Space, that is why he is forming Partners In Rhyme.

The evening will open with an introduction from Mary Jane Baxter, setting the stage for an inspiring lineup of five talented poets, each bringing their unique voice and perspective. This is more than just a poetry reading—it’s an opportunity to engage with the artists, discuss their work, and experience poetry in a fresh, dynamic way.

Expect powerful performances, thought-provoking verses, great company, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a lifelong poetry lover or just curious to explore, this event is for you.

Come along, listen, share, eat, and be inspired!

To make the night even more special, we’ll also be serving delicious food! You can pre-order your meal when booking your ticket.
