About

Step into Blackburn Bridal Couture and experience their award-winning services to help find you the perfect wedding dress.

Born and raised in South East London, Russell Blackburn showed a love of fashion from an early age. Inspired by classic 1940’s & 50’s movies and the Hollywood starlets who epitomised grace and elegance.

Following ten successful years as Fashion Director at 'You & Your Wedding Magazine', in 2005 Russell fulfilled a lifelong dream of launching his own bridal business – opening Blackburn Bridal in leafy Blackheath village.

Russell’s bridal expertise is often called upon by the Press and celebrity brides, with TV appearances including E4’s All Hail the Veil, ITVbe’s The Mummy Diaries and Wedding TV’s Bridal Boudoir.

Appealing to stylish brides wanting quality and originality alongside a personal approach to finding ‘the dress’, Russell has built up what is now one of the most successful independent bridal boutiques in the UK.

Choosing your wedding dress should be one of the most memorable and enjoyable parts of planning your big day. They promise to offer all this amongst fun, honesty, laughter and the surroundings of our luxurious and warm boutique.
