A homecoming gig by one of the most exciting talents every to come out of Woolwich

About

A homecoming gig by one of the most exciting talents ever to come out of Woolwich.

Over the last decade, Afrikan Boy - otherwise known as Olushola Ajose from Woolwich - has cultivated a worldwide fan base. Now an established international artist, he effortlessly combines a spectrum of sounds and influences, moving seamlessly from Afrobeat to Jazz and Spoken Word.

An Afrikan Boy show challenges any other when it comes to the energy and passion displayed on stage, something we can attest to from his performance at the opening night in back in September.

From honing his craft growing up in South East London, Afrikan Boy has since collaborated with the likes of M.I.A. and DJ Shadow and shared stages with Paul McCartney, Damon Albarn, Seun & Femi Kuti, Fatoumata Diawara and Mark Ronson to name just a few.
