A thrilling, funny, and heart-warming story about an awesome girl called Lily who faces her fears and saves the day

About

"It's a chilly, rainy night with a storm raging outside, Rain pelts against the window near Lily's bedside.
She's frightened of the darkness, so she tightly shuts her eyes, She dislikes nothing more than the silence of the night.
Tap, tap, tap... Comes the noise from the hallway..."

Will Lily overcome her fears? Will she conquer her fright? Will she conquer the creatures in the dead of the night?

Faceplant Theatre's adaptation brings Arthur McBain's eerie and heartfelt tale to life through original songs, puppetry, and a touch of humor. From the creators of One Duck Down (rated 'A perfect show for kids' ★★★★★ by Families Edinburgh) with music by Cat Gisby (Elle & the Pocket Belles), this adaptation of Arthur McBain's book is brimming with thrills, melodies, humor, and most importantly, monsters! McBain's book has gained international recognition in Australia, Korea, Turkey, and is a key title in Waterstones Children's Books Range here in the UK.

Faceplant Theatre is a family-oriented theater company whose debut production, One Duck Down, earned the Family Show of the Year 2018 award at that year's VAULT Festival. It has since toured various venues, including the Lyric Hammersmith, Pleasance Courtyard, New Wimbledon Theatre, Aylesbury Waterside, Greenwich Theatre, Turbine Theatre, GLive, Wardrobe Theatre, Canada Water Theatre, Streatham Space Project, as well as numerous schools and community venues.
