Woolwich Works are delighted to take part in the National Trust's Heritage Open Days

About

Woolwich Works are delighted to take part in the National Trust's Heritage Open Days.

As a heritage building located in the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich Works are excited to throw open their doors and share the venue's rich history from its origins over 300 years ago. Woolwich Works has welcomed King George III, housed a firework factory and a theatre, and even the Royal Artillery Band!

Always evolving, the venue is now a multi-faceted event space at the heart of our community with a wide variety of programming including commercial hires, workshops, live music, dance, comedy, café, resident artistic companies, fun for families, and more!

Join Woolwich Works as they celebrate Heritage Open Day with free tours and talks across the property:
- Hear from the architecture team that developed our group of heritage buildings into the wider Woolwich Works complex
- Learn about the history of the performing arts in Woolwich from a principal lecturer at the University of Greenwich
- Take part in one of four tours across the property to see how Woolwich Works has been redeveloped
- Relax and enjoy our open air Courtyard and Garden Shed Bar
and more!

* Heritage Open Day is FREE for all to attend - Booking for tours and talks is recommended -
