Joy's Vegan Caribbean

About

GCDA is excited to showcase many of the wonderful street food businesses in one place as part of the Diwali celebrations on 22nd October.  Visitors will be spoilt for choices in the historic corner of London with food from around the world ranging from authentic Indian offerings from Chai Junction and Chef Yogis, vegan Caribbean food from the brilliant Joy’s Caribbean Fusion and paella from Tapas Bravas.  There will also be food from Africa, China, Italy, Mexico and beyond!

There will be something for everyone across two sites at the Old Royal Naval College and Clocktower Market, serving from 12 noon until 8pm.

As part of the event to celebrate the Diwali Festival of Light project, GCDA has held lantern making workshops for the local community. These lanterns will be displayed for Diwali in Greenwich town centre business shop windows, at Greenwich Market, and taken home to display in front windows.

From 13th October, GCDA will be running a fortnightly street food market at Clocktower square (adjacent to Greenwich Picture House), from 12 noon until 7pm.

Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency (GCDA) is a not for profit company established 40 years ago as a social enterprise support organisation serving the diverse communities of London.
