The Saturday Art Club is part of the National Saturday Club network. It is a free weekly creative drop-in event for young people aged 13-16 who live or study in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to develop new skills, make new friends, achieve a Bronze Art Award and showcase your artwork in a national exhibition!

As a Club member you will attend weekly Saturday classes led by expert tutors in your local community, and take part in national events throughout the year including visits to leading cultural institutions, Masterclasses with industry, a Summer Show exhibition of all Club members’ work at London’s prestigious Somerset House, and a Graduation Ceremony. The Saturday Art Club is part of the National Saturday Club network. It is a free weekly creative drop-in event for young people aged 13-16 who live or study in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to develop new skills, make new friends, achieve a Bronze Art Award and showcase your artwork in a national exhibition!

As a Club member you will attend weekly Saturday classes led by expert tutors in your local community, and take part in national events throughout the year including visits to leading cultural institutions, Masterclasses with industry, a Summer Show exhibition of all Club members’ work at London’s prestigious Somerset House, and a Graduation Ceremony. A remarkable national network of further education, higher education, the cultural sector, and industry works together in partnership to deliver these enriching extracurricular activities.

As part of the National Saturday Club, you will take part in national events throughout the year including:  
- Visits to leading cultural institutions  
- The London Visit, in which club members take part in a pop-up self-portrait exhibition and visit London’s cultural venues  
- A masterclass with a leading creative industry professional  
- The Summer Show where all club members exhibit their final pieces at the prestigious Somerset House, London
