About

Up the Creek Comedy Club, in the heart of Maritime Greenwich, is a London comedy institution. Founded by comedian Malcom Hardee in 1991, it won the inaugural Chortle Award for Best Large Venue in 1991. Weekly events like the Blackout and Sunday Special attract established names and up-and-coming talent alike, while spontaneous after-show parties have become legendary. And, for those looking to get into the game themselves, the Up the Creek Comedy School offers six-week beginners’ courses in the art of stand up. Expanded to include the Up the Creek Brewery in 2018, the comedy complex also boasts a taproom serving prize winning microbrews and fabulous food.
