Find out about the history and architecture of the site, from its early years as a Tudor Place where King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I were born; to its time as the Royal Hospital for Seamen, the masterpiece you see today built by Sir Christopher Wren.

On your tour you will take in the grand perspective of Grand Square and the Water Gates, visit the King Charles Court, the Colonnades and find out about the incredible history of the Nelson Pediment. The tour finishes by the entrance to the Painted Hall where another adventure begins.

Tours run daily at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm*. Meet at the Visitor Centre to join a 45-minute tour of the spectacular grounds.
