Addressing the barriers faced by all generations of women as they advance their careers to positions of seniority

About

Richard House in association with Knight Dragon are hosting their inaugural Women in Business event on Wednesday 1st March to coincide with International Women's Day on 5G More Female. They want to look at how women of every generation can be supported in progressing their careers into positions of leadership, and how companies can overcome discrimination faced by women seeking promotion.

Held at Now Gallery, just a stone’s throw away from North Greenwich underground, they will be #EmbracingEquity with a fantastic line up of influential and successful panellists, including COO and Board Member of Knight Dragon, Kerri Sibson.

Five generations of women are now in the workforce. For the aspirational 2/3 women who want to enter levels of leadership in their first decade of their career, for every one women who succeeds, 1.8 men do.

Therefore, they will be addressing key issues in women moving up the career ladder and how we will overcome these barriers for good. We will be encouraging questions from the audience to ignite a highly important, impactful and insightful discussion.

Discussion Topics:
- How can businesses in the UK boost their population of female employees and leaders in traditionally male-centric industries?
- What do young women really want from their careers and the companies they work for?
- How can we all meaningfully provide ally-ship to get women into senior positions in business?
- How can businesses avoid discrimination and be fully inclusive in promotion/development opportunities for women going through menopause, chronic conditions such as endometriosis, or fertility treatment?

With a champagne and canape reception throughout, this makes the evening the ample time to network with likeminded professionals. There will also be an opportunity to explore and immerse yourself in this exclusive gallery.
