Kinaara, an elegant, fresh and fragrant contemporary Indian Fine Dining restaurant at InterContinental London - The O2

About

Kinaara is an award-wining, stylish, fresh and fragrant contemporary Indian fine-dining restaurant with views across the Canary Wharf Skyline and River Thames. Since its opening in November 2022, the restaurant has been awarded 2 AA rosettes for Culinary Excellence twice and have reached the Top 2 Restaurants in London on TripAdvisor, a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to delivering an exceptional culinary experience.

Located on the second floor of InterContinental London - The O2, the restaurant embarks on a dining concept new to London's East, with similar concepts currently residing further West in London’s Mayfair and Chelsea.

The name Kinaara draws inspiration from the Hindi meaning of ‘on the shore of, or on the edge of” a riverbank and offers diners the chance to savour and enjoy a plethora of rich and comforting flavours from across India and relax in the restaurant's stylish gold and purple hues complemented by the most breathtaking views of the River Thames and London's Canary Wharf. Perfect for business dinners, special occasion celebrations and date nights in the city.

Kinaara aims to transport diners as far back as the 14th century to regions of India where innovative dining originated from resourceful, creative cooking. The menus have been thoughtfully designed to promote a unique sharing concept that collectively encourages immersive dining that educates diners on authentic preparation methods such as spicing, cooking styles like tandoori grilling, staple accompaniments like dal makhani, heeng jeera aloo as well as flourishes of exotic spices like carom seed, Kashmiri chilli and more.

For this new and luxurious dining experience to launch in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, guests can experience Kinaara through a divine à la carte and dégustation menu, as well as a bespoke private dining menu for groups, parties and special occasions which can be enjoyed in the elegant private dining room.
